Nutrimedia is a culture growth media intended for the propagation of dairy bulk starters.  It is specially designed to contain the necessary vitamins, minerals and amino acids required for growth. Compared to conventional bulk starter media it has two advantages:

• It helps to prevent  bacteriophage growth during fermentation
• It is buffered to maximise the growth of active bacteria during fermentation
